Removed carpet and I like it. But why the rubbers?

    As for me, I did find a 2$ coin when removing my carpet for cleaning. I now consider my truck has cost me 2$ less than I paid :D

    Yea I been using this stuff in all my previous cars, Lexus GX460, Tundra. It works great. What I learned is you dont need to cover every inch of the surface (many folks do this) It just needs to help absorb the vibration from the metal. It works very well. New carpet is on its way should help silence it more so. I use kill mat 50 mil and Noico Red Stuff over it

    That and the ground using a self taper. I don't understand why people don't use studs that are already there.
    I've seen some of the worst hack jobs when it comes to electrical in my 30+ years of working on cars.
