Removing 2TR 2wd oilpan

    98 Tacoma V8 (LS1) swap
    LS1-T56 swap, Z06 ported heads, cam, Titanium valves, Kevlar clutch. Now building a forged stroker (383) and all the ponies! Old setup was rod-knockin on heaven's door...
    I cant find any info on this, getting ready to pull the pan, but looks to me like the motor needs to come up quite a bit to clear the non-removable crossmembers (damn you Toyota)

    Anybody have any info on pulling a 2TR pan on a 2wd?? I cant find anything even after searching everything I can and no longer have access to the Toyota online manuals :(

    Looks like the pan could be weaseled out if the pickup tube wasnt coming from the front cover blocking that from happening.
