I saw a few threads where people asked about this but no solutions given - usually they'd discover that their ABS problem was actually a wiring harness and give up.

I'm parting out a rear axle and the ABS sensors won't budge. I've popped one out of a clean low-mileage axle and it took a bit of force to loosen the seal. These seem almost fused in place. Is there a trick? Trying to pry them out with a flat-blade screwdriver did nothing. Penetrating oil has been no help.

I'd like to save the sensors if possible, since these are $150+ parts.

Should I be able to rotate the sensor in the hole?
