Guys who have removed the B pillar vinyl did you use Goo Gone to remove the residue after you got the vinyl off? How did you get the residue from under the window trim? Will getting goo gone under the window trim make it release from the window? Just trying to get an idea of how to do it right without messing up the window trim that I already hear can leak.

I used WD40 on the residue. Seemed to work really well. Most of the residue came off with the vinyl. If you go slow, and apply just the right amount of heat, almost nothing is left behind. I had a couple little bits I had to pic away at with a plastic putty knife, but nothing that difficult. It was all gone off my truck in under an hour, residue and all.

I did mine in the parking garage while on break at work. Took a few minutes to get started and then came off nice and clean.
Had two or three tiny bits left but goo gone and then a cleaner and wax made it perfect.

I am planning on doing the same. I have had several motorcycles in the past. They each had several "don't sue us" stickers on them that were very peal resistant. I left the motorcycle out in the hot summer sun, then a few hours latter I simply pealed the stickers right off. No residue to speak of.

Is goo gone something you need to worry about around window trim? I'm not sure if that trim is held on by an adhesive or not.
