Removing balance shaft chain without deleting the balance shafts?

    I saw a post from 2013 from BamaToy about deleting just the balance shaft chain and leaving the number 2 tensioner in place to act as an oil jet. I would rather do this than go through the hassle of deleting the balance shafts and worrying about maintaining proper oil pressure while avoiding metal shavings from tapping the oil ports.

    Anyone out there do this?
