Removing clips that hold grille

    Is there a particular trick to getting the clips that hold the grille in to come out without breaking? As soon as the weather warms a tad, that is my next project.

    There are several good YouTube videos on removing the grill.

    I used a pair of needle nose pliers to compress the tabs and flex them enough to push them out of the slots... didn't break a single one or damage the ole cheese grater

    I brought mine into the house and gave them a slight warm up with the wifes' blow dryer. I think it makes them a little more pliable and a little less brittle.
