The little red button/light to the left of the steering wheel broke, and after changing the battery the alarm armed and went into a no start/crank mode. because the little red button/light is broken I can't reset the alarm. So now i'm trying to remove it. I've located the module and shock device under the dash, and it looks like the igintion switch has been hooked right into the alarm with a pigtail. I've unhooked the pigtail and pluged the factory harness right into the ignition switch and unhooked the alarm but it still wont crank. I did notice the CEL isn't coming on when I hit the key now. I think i'm missing a plug somewhere???
    Hopefully y'all are trackin me...

I looked to see how hard it was to remove it when I got my truck but when I took the dash apart and realized that it spidered all up through the factory wiring, I left it alone and went to the dealer and got me a couple of key fobs. You can buy the little button because I just bought one the other day.

Yeah, I thought the same thing. I may just take it to the dealer and have them take it out...
