Im trying to install my new Trail Gear bumper but I can not seem to remove my bumper support. I hit it with the ratchet and cannot break the bolts loose. Then I tried it with an impact and the entire thing would spin and not loosen up. Any ideas on how to get the thing off?

The part Im refering to is show in step two of the installation instructions

A bumper here, some tires there..... you know, stuff.
i can't remember if that has a nut welded to the back or not but it may have broken loose.

if you don't plan on doing anything with it or selling it i would just say cut it and be done with it.

View the build. Too much to list.
See if you can find the nut on the back and hold it with vice grips.

I was thinking maybe trying vice grips. It was dark so i wasnt sure if it was totally moving in back. But whatever it is its a pain in the ass. Cutting it would be last resort i guess
