I think he is referring to the video the OP shared of him losing control of the truck on a freeway interchange with dry pavement, driving through the ditch, almost hitting a light pole, and then reentering the freeway. It was pretty pedestrian compared to my antics when i was 16.

 

That’s what these girls are complaining about? The only thing in danger was his own truck and maybe a tumble weed. I don’t see the big deal. I definitely wouldn’t do this with my truck but who cares if this guy wants to do it to his. Mostly I just find it confusing. Why didn’t he just get a dodge charger with a 392 scat pack or something if he was looking to bust tires loose? A 4x4 Tacoma has to be in the top 5 worst possible choices for a drift car.

By the way OP, you will want to get a copy of Techstream, not any regular OBD unit.

Working on 2wheel lo mod, there are quite a few checks the ECU does (like checking wheel speed sensors on front vs rear, and checking wheel speed differences vs the steering angle and rate gyro)... There is a good chance that your testing on jack stands actually caused quite a few of the warning lights because of the checks.
