truck does go into 4hi 4lo and 4lo diff lock, both rear are confirmed locked and tires spinning super slow like double slow not sure this gonna be streetable or driftable but if i her stuck with no 4wd the locked 2wd with low-low gears ought to get me out the ditch lol.

did find out fox shock BROKE at top mount. how?

also, bot a fancy bluetooth obd2 scanner to clear tss but o error code. anyone got latest thread ok resetting tss after lift? i unplugged neg batt cable overnight, will see if it resets tss


now looking for chepaest stiffest rear shock for taco. which is it? rough country, fabtech?

You’re not going to need a new shock, it just limits travel

 

Not the first time I've seen those fox 2.0's break there. Why did you remove the driveshaft?

To try and drift in 2wd locked but the gearng is super super low. Any way to lock in regular ratios?

 

Rear diff lock is for 5mph or less. Do as you wish. It's your truck.

honest opinion: buy a 1st Gen prerunner with a rear locker, gray wire mod it and bango. You got everything you need

I mean, if you are set on doing it. And you’ve already pulled the front driveshaft.
What would happen if you locked the diff in 4LO.
Unplugged the diff lock connector on the rear diff.
Then switched back to 4Hi with the diff lock connector unplugged?

Of course, you should do this at your own risk.
I have no idea what what will happen.
And I’m more less here to see how much abuse the stock locker will take before it breaks.
Basically, what I’m saying is, I’m here for the carnage.

It will unlock if you unplug it. It’s an electro magnetic design.
