I just picked up this 2008 DCSB OR. Not sure what this is on the dash. It's hard, not gummy or sticky, but kind of seems like when sap or something gets on something and gets hard. Potentially it's a glue or something for something that was mounted here, but it's not in a predictable shape. It's just a weird hard substance on the dash.

Any thoughts on something that could potentially break this down? I didn't want to start prying on it and pull up or cut part of the dash.

    Thanks

I would start with rubbing alcohol, then maybe charcoal lighter- naphtha. Go slow and easy, best of luck.
