Old ass thread but how did you determine the right size for the new centering pin? Looking to remove the upper overload as well but don't want to rip it apart to find out I got the wrong size bolt to use as the new centering pin...

That is if what I read about the OME centering pin not being fully threaded was true

I didn't need a new centering pin - just re-used the old/original one. No problems, to date. As with most things, YMMV. Good luck!

About to remove the 3rd leaf this weekend. Between that and going from e to c load tires, hopefully the ride gets a lot more comfortable

I'm running the EL095R pack with the big overload spring removed, netting me a 4+1 spring setup. It's perfect with Timbren Active Off-road bumps. Truck hauls and tows soo much better. With my TRD Baja (Pro) suspension it nets me about an inch of rake and is perfect. For a stock truck I do believe you can remove the middle leaf as well.

Ride is so much better with the 3rd leaf removed, and c load tires! But now I gotta readjust the front king coilovers down a tad.

Does anyone know if the removing of the 3rd leaf and the larger overload holds true for the 1st gen packs?
