Removing Map Light Cover

    Not 100% sure but i would say yes. Since installing the LED lights, at first having dome and map lights on. When I would turn off map lights it would turn off dome light too in the door position. Not doing it now.

    Fox 2.0 Coilovers in the front and Fox 2.0’s in the rear, Total Chaos UCA’s, Al-lpro expo leafs, K&N cold air intake, TRD headers,Magnaflow catback exhaust,URD short throw shifter, switched out my 60/40 bench seat for some Tacoma Limited seats, Replaced the vinyl shift boot for a leather one, completely soundproofed the cab w/ Frost King. Replaced stock radio with a Pioneer AVH series head unit. Focal component system w/a 10" sub powered by 2 Alpine amps. Weathertech floor mats. Line-X'd the bed. SCS Ray 10’s, Installed an A.R.E. MX series camper shell. All-Pro Apex front bumper w/ All-Pro skid plates all the way back to the Trans. Low Range fuel skid plate.
    Ok, so that confirms to me their wired in together. Thank you sir!

    Is there any fix for LEDS to have them turn when the door is open when the map light is on the door position?

    Yes if you run the 2nd gen T4R map light & run an additional wire for the door jamb switch. Bolts right on & looks the same except the 2nd gen T4R map light has an additional switch for this labeled door. I have one, too lazy to go take a pic.

    Also if you care, depending on the color of your interior you may have to paint the map light cover as the T4R interior colors do not match Tacomas, the gray doesn't anyway, not sure about the tan.
