    Hi everyone.
I’m a newbie to TW and the forums. This is my first post.
I recently purchased a 20 Tacoma TRD off road with a factory roof rack. As you all are probably aware the 20 Tacoma oem rack has an interference problem with the antenna fin.
Since I don’t need the rack I would rather remove it than try to seek remedy to the interference. Can someone point me towards a step by step on removal of rack and restoration of the weather strip?
    Thanks
    Glen

I don't know how to take the rack off, it shouldn't be too hard. That said, will the dealer remove and install the striping? I ask, because those strips from the dealer might cost more than you think. I would think if Toyota didn't redesign correctly, they would be on the hook for the repairs? Hell, I'd want my roof rack money back too.

pull the rack, seal the holes, buy the new end pieces for both sides at the rear of the roof to cab area buy the new strips (they are not cheap). hopefully you dont break the front and or the rear plastic retainer "clips". Ski
