I need to remove my oil pan to clean it out. I'm being told that I cannot remove it without remove the 4WD front axel that lies directly beneath it. Yesterday I spent a while laying under the truck staring at it, contemplating.

I wanted to post on here before trying to see if anyone has any experience removing the oil pan from a 2nd gen. 4 cylinder.

    Thanks
