    Hey Everyone!
Just had an idea - I don't have a camper and I don't want one (used to have one didn't like it). Would it be possible to take the passenger seat out of the truck and put a bedroll in its place for sleeping in? Would it be a tight/impossible fit? I am a 6'2 male by the way.

Any inputs or other ideas would be much appreciated
    Ken

Got a tape measure. I'd measure from the footwell to the back and see if you'd fit.

I assume you're talking about the front passenger seat, right?

Think about how you'd end up sleeping. If you want to lay flat, I wouldn't measure from the foot well, but from the edge of the dash. And for that, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't fit, and you're 4+" taller than me.

Might have a better chance if you took the rear seats out too, so the bedroll would be lower and have more of a chance of getting your feet in the passenger footwell.

There's only one way to find out. Take the seat(s) out and give it a try.

Keep in mind that once you remove the seat, the floor pan is not flat. Particularly where the front seat brackets attach- there is a bump, which is for the air duct, wire looms, etc.. If you're young and don't get body aches from sleeping in contorted positions, you might be able to get away with it if you fit in that space... but it's not something I'd consider.

Its a great idea by removing front and rear passenger seats and place a piece of plywood to keep it flat with legs if needed. Throw in a air pad on top would be another suggestion. You would lose alot of weight from removing the seats and improve gas mileage. Give it a try and let us know.
