Has anyone had experience with removing a procomp 6" on a 05+ 4wd?

My main concern is the install of the 6" kit required a piece to be cut to drop the diff.

I am going to be taking the 6" kit off and installing an LT kit in the next couple months. Any suggestions?

I have seen a thread or 2 of some people doing it. They weld in the piece that was cut. I'm not sure if gussets would be required but lets say yes for now.

I can see where it was cut and I planned on rewelding that when the time comes. I guess my question is more about putting the dif back where it came from
