Removing spare tire and carry inflator

    any chance it improve mpg and handle better?

    ^Nope. ;)

    It's good to carry an inflator anyway, but removing 70 lb from the rear axle area won't do anything noticeable for mpg or handling.

    I suppose if you live somewhere were there is cell service and triple A available then you could get away with this. Occasionally however you will have a tire failure that is not patchable. Then you need the cell service.

    I carry two full size spares and a tire inflator. No cell service and definitely no triple A in the places I play.

    MPG would not increase a noticeable amount only removing the tire.

    Toyota does provide roadside service for 2 years and i check my tire at least once a week, and it kinda dangerous changing tire on the higway. off with the spare next week. haha. your name suggest you in nevada, I used to drive through there a couples of time as a otr truck driver. sometime there is absolute NOTHING for miles.

    That nothingness is along the interstate. Off the interstate is even more of it...that's why I carry two spares.
