so i went into 4wheelparts today and had my tires rotated and balanced. i asked the assistant manager a question about how to get the sway bar linkage out of the spindle, he came outside to take a look. he explained how then asked me if they did the lift. i said yes. he then told me that i voided my warranty on my whole 6" pro comp lift, by removing the sway-bar, and it was a stupid idea. because it will cause my coil-overs to blow out, and it creates to much stress on other components. he then asked me why i would take it off anyways. i explained that his manager told me it would be a good idea, the last time i came in, because he did the same thing to his old tacoma....

wtf. does removing your sway-bar lead to coil-overs blowing out? what is everyone's opinion of sway-bar removal? is it worth it?

Removing the sway bar does allow for more articulation...Depending on the shock it's possible you could bottom them out and eventually lead to damage.
I think that the warranty voiding thing is a scare tactic- They'd have to prove it before the just drop your coverage.

I love having mine off....but I only have the 3 inch.
