Just saying, if you have to turn the wheel hard and fast enough to cause the rim to hit the pavement, your probably gona roll ! :D

mine have been off for several weeks. First day off was a very windy day on the freeway, so truck didn't feel great and the change was new to me.. I am used to it now and like how it rides, I think they are off for good.

I drive slow, and trucks lifted a little which helps because front end is a bit stiffer. I'd say if you were a spirited bat out of hell type driver, you may want to leave them on. That aint me though, never will be.

The only difference I feel is the true independence of the front suspension, as it’s not joined together anymore.

Is there such a thing as a quick disconnect kit like wranglers have?

Yes. There a person selling sliding end links for about $200. Pretty neat.

Yes, but how do you keep the sway bar from destroying the CV and other parts? Is there a way to secure it somehow?

The sliding end link. They don't allow it to drop any further than when it is connected. Each side allows articulation of the suspension.

Hm, interesting concept. I wonder how it works in the real world. The thread didn't have any reviews. I'd be curious to know how effective it is.

Somebody has them. The only comment was that there is a bit of a rattle, esp when disconnected. But then, I can hear my brake pads rattle from time to time.

IMHO if I had an OR suspension, I would have these in a heartbeat. For the Sport, I feel the combo of stiff springs and stiff SB are the source of all the negative comments about the ride. For me without the SB, it is the sweet spot.

As has been noted by others in this thread, with no sway bars the front end has much more "give" when turning. That is to say that the weight transfer from the inside of the truck to the outside while turning is much less abrupt. For me, that is a big improvement on snow & ice because sudden steering inputs are not conducive to maintaining control.

Also, I started driving when new vehicles didn't have sway bars...so it's not a big adjustment. Even the semis that I drove for many years were leaf spring fronts with no sway bars.

When I had my 2016 I permanently removed the sway bar but I was also running stiffer king coils up front. Used it as a daily driver before selling it off.
