Removing the Vinyl Between the Windows...

    Has anyone removed the black vinyl sticker from between the windows yet? I would be ever appreciative if you could post a picture....

    I have it on an old Corolla (2004) my son is getting. I don't recommend trying - it disintegrates.

    It does wax up well. I've never minded it, and like the look of it on the truck.

    Body paint. Underneath the pieces that are chipped away is solid body paint. Not sure if it's clear coated or not, but the paint never rusted through. On the Corolla, it also goes all the way around the window opening, whereas on the Tacoma it's only on the vertical pillars.

    I'm not worried about it on the 2016 Taco. Saw it Friday, thought it looked nice.

    I don't like the black between the windows. When did you peel it off? I'm guessing it was a few years after purchase so it got hard and was hard to take off

    Wouldn't make since that they wouldn't clear coat those little bits of bodywork.
