    Hi guys.

I bought a pair of '06 tinted taillights off craigslist because they were cheap ($35) and mine were cracked. But they were already tinted and upon installing them, I found they're WAY too dark. Which is probably why the guy was selling them.

I had to take them off because being 19, I really don't need another reason for cops to pull me over and I really don't want to be rear-ended and then be screwed.

I'm not sure what method was used but the guy said he had them professionally tinted.
So, my question is, how can I lighten or remove the tint?

    Sanding. A whole bunch.

Pnuematics like a DA or an orbital are a lifesaver if you know how to use them properly.

If not, good news is that you are 19 and prob have a real strong right forearm
