Used that too, also rubbing alcohol which worked a little better but it still took forever! Three time polished and still slight traces of adhesive! My truck is 2014 and I guess it must have baked on real bad in this wonderful California sun!! :D

3M adhesive remover has always worked for me. Just removed my decals from my ‘15 last week.

Bug & Tar remover has always done wonders on any adhesives for me and leaves the paint looking like the rest of the vehicle, can’t even notice it was there.

What do you guys think the odds are of having a ghost or shadow left after removing the decals on a 2015 Barcelona red truck? I mean they've been on the truck for 4.5 years. The paint is in very good condition, best I can tell.

How about rubbing compound? Then wash and wax after

I removed the TACOMA emblems off the doors and the V6 emblem from the tailgate on my 19 TRD Cement Off-Road last night. Took maybe 45 minutes, and that's with running my Rupes DA polisher over the areas with some polish and Microfiber polishing pad. I did however leave the TRD decals on the bedsides....

Can OP feel the 100 horsepower reduction that he cost himself by removing the glorious TRD stickers??
