    Takes forever. What a nightmare.

Used the fishing line maneuver to get the badges off.

The adhesive behind the badges is incredibly strong and thick.

Goo Gone, Dawn dish soap, and WD-40 have all been used, but the heat gun seems to work best.

It comes off tiny piece by tiny piece. This will take all night.

    Any other suggestions?

burn them with fire!! ha ha, I kid... But seriously, they make these eraser wheels that you can put in a drill and it'll make short work of any remaining adhesive. Should be able to get one at an auto parts store and anyplace that specializes in autobody/automotive paint.

Be careful with the heat gun. I've used that before to remove 3M clear film on my Tundra, ended up melting the clear coat & paint.

Not too often you come across this scenario.

Thanks. I'll take it down a notch and use a hair blow dryer for the remainder.

Do you know how many people here would kill to put that badge ON their SR's?

Great. Now you've decreased the value and HP by at least 50%.

More than happy to sell these hideous badges.
There's enough adhesive left behind to hang a spare tire.

Be curious to see what you get for your badges

I mailed mine all free to a sport owner on this forum who has them on his truck

He even did the pro hood sticker mod

Going to try some hot soapy water from the pressure washer now. Doubt it will help. This adhesive is a curse.

I did dental floss and hair dryer

Then I did goo gone which still left a lot of residue

I finally had used this which cleaned it up like mint

Didn't need badges since I had Pro exclusive color. Now that cement will be everywhere and my Pro will be sold soon enough, nothing to worry about it for me

    Enjoy the truck :)

    Prep-all and a hairdryer.

I'm currently using some turtle wax brand prep-all but I've used other brands in the past and they all seem to work great.

It numbed my fingers but I got my badge adhesive off in about 20 minutes
