I initially used both GoofOff and GoodGone. Yeah, GoofOff smells pretty freaking bad, but the smell didn't linger. It was totally gone by the next morning.

Duct tape seems to cure over time, esp when it leaves a residue. From that, I don't think it would help here? Of course, you could try.

The warning sticker residue is from a heat activated adhesive. To me, it is kind of a dumb move for folks who choose to remove them. Previous cars used pressure sensitive adhesive that made the removal a breeze.

Good point on the heat, I didn’t know that.

On the duct tape, I mean the to see if the tape’s sticky side to pull off the residue.

Yessir. I'm kinda doubting it unless it gets to set there for a while, then other issues might happen. Haha!

Of course, it should be no problem if trying it like a lint pickup.

Yeah, didn't want to go down that "removal rabbit hole" - removing the gunk from just the orig bed sticker was bad enough, layer after layer!
Fight fire w/ fire - decal over decal. 10 min and done!
Sorry for the blurry pic. Had to reduce the contrast in PS as it's very subtle in reality but the iPhone trying to add light in a dim vehicle just blows out the contrast.

Definitely. I didn't mind the rabbit hole on my Taco, but as long as you're happy. Right? :D

I took a close look at the visor warnings on my truck. There are three different kinds on each visor, requiring different removal techniques. None of them are easy to remove, unlike, say, the bedside decals. Unless you're an expert, attempts to remove the visor warnings will most likely result in a big mess. Besides, I kind of like those labels.

Some of the sticker folks offer those. Some panty dropper ones also.

I wanted the clean look and got it without too much effort. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Disclaimer, i just took it off so have not tried to clean up yet and the picture contrast is more than real life.

I applied heat gun until a corner came loose, then I put the heat gun down and slowly pulled. It was really pulling near the end so I stopped and added more heat.

Lesson learned - get it warm enough to start and keep some heat on it, then don’t stop pulling! Hope this will not be worse for my OCD than the sticker.

Use the iron and old t shirt trick to pick up the residue.

That's why I wonder if using fabric spray paint on top might hide any leftover residue? I have the black/gray/silver SR5 interior with gray visors. I'm thinking about ordering black ones and topcoating them.

I taped mine off and used plasti-dip. See pics below. You could then put your own sticker on after that etc. I like the minimal no sticker look as it doesn't distract from the view out the windshield.

2016. Removed visor, placed piece of sheet over sticker, ironed for 15 seconds, slowly peeled sticker off. Amazed at how easy it was to do this, after thinking bout it for years.

    removal of visor stickers:
heated the visor up with a small space heater,
worked a corner up enough to start peeling slowly,
after sticker gone glue residue left so,
rubbed with some 50 alcohol - got some of it but,
put a clean piece of t shirt over spot and ironed it for 15 - 20 seconds,
one sticker had more glue so re ironed with clean piece of shirt a couple more times till it looked good,
did this at night and was going to get goo gone tomorrow but iron worked good,
    other side tomorrow
spot shows more in pics than in person
