If nothing else, a pic of the bumper would have at least confirmed that he was a customer. I take no-one on the internet at their word, especially when they have no history, so it could have been a random troll just trying to stir up shit.

So based off the OPs account and Eric's account, the OP did not like his custom work after it was done and wanted some changes. That would extend the lead time a bit to remove the "long horn" cut out and keep it with standard cut outs. I feel the OP never considered his change back to the original in his "custom" bumperand would actually add to his lead time. When it all comes down to it the OP messed up with going back on his "custom" work.

Now THIS is how you discuss something. He explained details, including what the OP said to him. After the OPs opening statement, and this reply, I will be siding with Eric. Seems to me from Eric's explanation, the OP asked for something, was told what was going on, and decided he didn't like it, Eric offered alternatives, and the OP accepted, only to later recant.

On a side note, Eric, that bumper looks bad ass. If I were in Texas and had the cash, I would buy it!

My only question is where did he think the Long horn was gonna be cutout? Or did he think it would be smaller?

Edit: And I'm not siding with one side or the other in this case.
