OK. When are your next days off?

Side note, has anybody figured out how to combat the whistle? It is beginning to get annoying

Do a quick forum search, lots of info.
Door edge trim is common on a couple low fins, Rigid goes different and uses foam between fins vertically in a few places to break the cooling area into narrower sections to reduce the pressure differential across the areas to eliminate the whistle

My name is Rob and my wife and I just moved from germany to reno last week. So far it looks like a great place to have out door fun. Any thoughts on best place to get a tonneau cover? Or is it best to by online? Any tips will be helpful!

There's a 4wheel parts here locally, Custom Truck on Kietzke should have them as well.

    Welcome to the area!

Ya the tailgate is excellent condition overall except for 2 small scratches near top. I can send you pics. And I'm going to keep the backup camera out of it to use on my bumper. Not sure how much those go for? Like $375??

I posted pics in that thread - I'd sell to you for less than $400...I'll sell any of the parts for less to local boys

Looks like fun. I'm supposed to have family in town that weekend but if that falls through I'm down!

    Few questions:

    1) So, looking in the area of Spanish Springs (up near red hawk golf course area). thoughts? Traffic coming down Vista?

    2) Also considering out near stead but there appears to be some sort of treatment plant up that way, is that sewage or just water? Traffic coming down from that way?

    3) From what I've seen online, pyramid/mccarran is going to be a nightmare for the next few years, unfortunately, I'll be at a recruiting office right at that intersection. is there a direction to access that southwest corner/raley's lot that is friendlier in the mornings?

    4) what's auto insurance go for? here in OK it tends to be higher due to our hail storms/tornado (and more idiot drivers), currently running about $650 every 6 months paid in full. homeowners insurance a reasonable price? ours is in the 1800/yr range (again due to tornado/hail damage).

    5) recommendations on property management companies? still on fence on whether to buy or rent, renting seems to be difficult due to our husky and many uneducated owners thinking she is a dangerous dog that will eat little kids and stuff. plus having a reasonable sized yard for her to roam would be necessary.

    6) I'll be in town Sunday night-Thursday afternoon to get a feel for the area again (haven't been to Reno for about 8 years). Anything going on those days?

1 & 2 I prefer Reno to live and yes the traffic sucks coming from both those areas in the morning if you hit the crap commute times.
3 coming east on mccarren will be your best bet in the AM or north on pyramid your second best option.

Can't comment on the rest except to say the rental market is more friendly right now. House sales are super inflated, and will be for probably the next two years due to hype.

Welcome back. Lets all go wheel.

I can't help with your questions but this map is pretty accurate from my observations. Which may help.
