I wasn't trying to offend you at any point. It was never personal or directed at you. Just to be clear.

Yeah I guess so. News to me that we can't talk "politics" though. Oh well... hopefully that answered some questions for those who had them. Back to whatever.

Dude, you've been here since 2010, the no politics rule is probably the biggest one we have

None taken, I thought it was pretty straight forward and actually a good human argument but what's done is done. This is where I would draw the line with bean but a suspension or ban is not in my future.
There's a line and I see it being crossed ;) I can have my opinion, just cant talk "regional politics" I thought you would at least give a warning and maybe just take out a couple things, not delete everything in site.

You literally took almost everything me and max were conversing about out, i thought you would censor certain words or sentences. I guessed wrong. I hate pushing buttons but I'm just trying to make sense of the situation.

So I haven't been on this forum that long. The no politics clause was unknown to me to begin with, however I guess there is a weak argument about why it shouldn't be allowed. Second, since I haven't been on this forum board very long, I have to ask, the moderators. I have heard OF them, however have never actually SEEN them participate in any conversations. So am I not looking hard enough or do they only come around when they feel like they need to? By the way, I have been around for just under a year.....nice to meet you Jim Beam, you are the first person I have seen with 'moderator' under their name. You mods should make it a habit to introduce yourselves to the new people when they join. Otherwise its like starting a job and not knowing who your supervisors are. Who knows, I just participate in conversations here.

Folks, just want to say thanks sharing about Nevada. I believe I had a chance to read much of the content before it was deleted. Even your views on the forbidden topics, provides some really good insight and things that I need to consider when looking for a place to retire.
The two most appealing aspects that I’ve seen are the scenery/landscape and the tax structure for retirees. No tax on my pension, 401k, IRA’s and pretty much all other sources of income is a huge plus seeing how I’d like to retire while still in my 50s. Having everyday be a day off and living somewhere that I can afford to go play is my dream.

@JimBeam my hat’s off to you brother. Working to keep all the political chatter in check can’t be easy. Especially in this day and age where politics is intertwined with damn near every aspect of life. From the safety standpoint of the tires on my truck being DOT legal to some place like Nevada where I’m sure the topic of Sex is somewhere on a ballot for a vote.

Many of us do post quite frequently, however you may not see us unless you venture into the regional threads where we live, or the off topic section

I don't post much in technical stuff because I'm still learning about my 2nd gen

No, I'm South Carolina but we venture elsewhere when we get reports

    Hence the politics cleanup
