Anyone know if the shocks use a bushing on the top. If so will new shocks come with new one? I def will not have on as it went bye bye when it broke. I would need to go grab one so I can install shocks soon as they arrive.

I had those fox 2.0's on my Tundra, IIRC the top bushings and nut was part of the new shock assembly.

    ...too much shit to list.
I've yet to see a brand that did not provide bushings for shocks. I'm sure they will come with new top stem bushings.
If a shock goes bad, the consumables around it (rubber) are pretty much guaranteed to be bad. Would be some really bad juju if they didn't provide it.

Any one here replace a needle bearing on their truck. Just found out that most likly I will have problems now that I have a lift on. I did not notice know about this before hand. I do not know if this is something I would want to try and install my self.

 interested as well. I'm getting that humming at any speed over 40 but it goes away when I put it into 4wd. Looks like you need a special puller. Might just wait until I re-gear.

Yeah the tool is 60 and the bushing is 60, not bad but the install looks kinda tough.

If you re-gear through ECGS one of the options for the front clamshell is having their bushing installed. I think there might be a thread where people are sharing the tool.

not interested in regearing. I know someone that might be able to do the bushing install for me. I just have to talk to him. He is a mechanic for my work. He has a custom offroad rig with 44s and kubota diesel in it, sure he will be able to do it no problem. Just have to talk to him.

Cool. Having a cold beer and wrenching is something I enjoy. No other payment is necessary.

So got my new shocks in today, only problem I can not get them on the trucks. I can not compress them enough to line up with the mount. The fit is super tight. Anyone have any ideas. Truck is on a jack on the ground and I just can not get a good angle to compress to line it up where bolt goes in.
