    Where are you jacking from?

Easiest way is to rest the frame on jackstands and use the jack to lift the axle up/down to align the bolt hole.

The shock is to long, jacking it up will only make it worst. I am just using the jack for the truck. I will get a floor jack and jack up more from the frame and maybe the axle will come down more. Also was thinking up putting a floor jack under stock and use the to compress it and slide to the hole and see what happens.

I don't fuck around and my truck sits on 12 ton stands when I work on my truck. You can drop the axle way out that way. If it's still not enough, I have used a jack on the shock rod end to compress the shock to slide the bolt in.

well got my shocks in. i was up early it was bothering me. went grabed floor jack at my work yard. jacked truck up and was able to compress shock and get it in the top no problems. I should have had a floor jack to begin with. i had bottle jack under the axle and thats where my problem was. axel woulnt drop down enough. had to bend the tabs a little to fit bottoms in, it was a super tight fight. all good now.

Nope never done it. Would love to learn though. I know @jberry813 is a wealth of knowledge on it too but he'd probably tell me to go read :boink: :D

No. I would tell you to go get me another beer while I rebuild them. And then hurry back and finish up the OTPHJ.

Shit I forgot the caveat asterisk footnote.

I don't work on ICONs anymore. Aside from their stupid design, their customer service sucks donkey dick. Even if I get the seals from a third party, you can't charge them with nitrogen without a special hypodermic needle adapter. I had one and it's cheap and shitty and broke the last time I used it. So i refuse to work on ICONs since then.

Nothing against you. Everything against ICON.

Not blindfolded. But with a beer in one hand, yes.
And mod status just made me dumber. There's a King GB going on right now, but as a decent human being I'll tell you to stay the fuck away from that one and if you're interested in a brand new set I can set you up the man himself and he'll beat the GB prices.
