Not sure what day yet. I have Friday off but I also have my 20k maintenance scheduled for that morning and I've had horrible experiences with Dolan's service department so that could be an all day affair for just an oil change and some small warranty work. Might be going Saturday.

Yeah that’s where I bought it and they were great but it’s not very convenient for me. Dolan has a warranty part for me for my climate control knob too.

Rant time. I’ve never had a good experience with Dolan. Not once. I went there first to buy the truck but they really wanted to bone me on my cherry 2014 IS250 trade in. I expect some amount of boneage with a trade in but their offer was insulting. They also tried to tell me whoever did body work on it previously (rear bumper was replaced and repainted) did a horrible job. THEIR BODY SHOP WAS THE ONE THAT DID THE REPAIRS.

First service was okay but not the smoothest or quickest for a tire rotation and spot check.

10k service was a mess. Shuttle took an hour, had to call 5 times to get an update on if my truck was ready before someone could answer. It took way longer than they said. I’m pretty sure they forgot and when I called at 3pm to check they had an oh shit moment and rushed it through. Service advisor was a young girl who I dont think could point to the oil dipstick if she was asked. Then when I went to get my keys they tried to charge me $1200 for I have no idea what?

12k miles the truck died going down 580. Was just in a limp mode and undrivable. Had it towed in to Dolan. They had it for a week and even though there were numerous codes they couldn’t recreate it and said that they had no idea and couldn’t do any work unless they could recreate it. I said fuck it and took it home, did like 5 minutes of research on this site found it was probably the crank position sensor. Ordered a new one and put it in myself and never had an issue again.

Skipped the 15k mile service because I can rotate my own tires and I’d rather stick a hot screwdriver in my eye socket than have to deal with them.

We’ll see how they do Friday for the 20k. It’s my last free service and then hopefully I never have to step foot in there again.

    /rant

I take the 4R there for oil changes since its cheaper than me doing it. Never had/have a problem. There's no way my truck would ever go there though.

I’ve had decent experiences with Dolan. Their shuttle service is laughable though, all the old guys with terrible hearing don’t know how to work their GPS to get to anywhere.

I did find a small pile of rags on top on my engine yesterday when I popped the hood, and I got my 15k a few weeks ago so I’ll definitely be inspecting things closely after I get my truck back from service.

    Good luck!

Maybe they read this forum. I was in and out in an hour and a half. No issues. Didn’t complain about the skid plates. Service was friendly.
