I’m running 887’s with 255/80/17’s and I pulled the mud flaps and get a wee bit of rubbing on the driver side flare.

The 255s are sweet, I have 2inch in the front and back and no rub issues at all.

Yes stock OR wheels. There are only 2 options really for tires at the 255 size. Thats the only down side. I went with the Cooper ST Maxx, so far they seem great. Just did Moab with them and never had any problems. Ran them at 26psi, but think they can go lower easy. Not a lot of road noise either.

I've only heard good things about the ST Maxx. Any trouble mounting your spare?

It fits. I cut my exhaust to make a little room, do not think you have to tho. It fits in there, you just need to strap it back towards the hitch so it clears the diff cover when you go offroad. If you are only driving around town you can just pull it up and it will fit. I have a ratchet strap on mine and it just about hits the back of my hitch and have it pull towards passenger side of the truck. I have not had a problem still in place. I liked the look of the exhaust gone, I just saved the tip and put it on where I cut off the piece.

Mt. Rose area has some solid Christmas trees if anyone is getting their own! The weather was almost too warm for hiking a tree around though.

You can get a permit from the forest service for like $5 and go right by your house. You might have missed the window but I don't think so.

I want it to be a trip lol, but yeah would make sense to do it by my own house I guess lol. I am laid off so anything that takes up time during the day is good.

From what I've researched most people run a stock rim with the 255's. Are those steelies a 17 or 16 inch rim?
