Has anyone here driven the Plumas Backcountry Discovery Trail? Would anyone be interested in checking it out?

 

I havent been out in a long time. I would def down to go on a little trip to check some shit out.

 

I still haven't watched the video. I just saw it pop up on YouTube suggested videos to watch and figured that's what everyone was talking about. Ha

 

I bought a 4.88 front gear for my truck on Amazon for just $33. Yukon ring and pinion. It was a typo or something and I got lucky. The price was adjusted right after I bought that gear. Just need to buy the rear gear and both front and rear master re-build kits and I'll be re gearing my truck. Way cheaper than supercharging. Not as cool though.

 

I was just thinking that maybe in the spring, we could make a short trip of it. I'm trying to find maps of the trail, I heard there are a few places to get on and off of the trail so it could be done in segments over time. To be completely honest, I have very little experience off road and would much rather go with friends so I can get some experience without the risk of getting into a bad situation alone.

 

yeah a buddy is always a plus. I learned the hard way. Its not rocket science to drive offroad but you never know what can happen.
