@la0d0g were you driving over by Trader Joe’s this evening? I saw a Tacoma that looked like the pics I’ve seen of yours. I also saw a Relentless armored 4Runner in the parking lot.

Keep it classy Reno. I was backing into a parking spot in the garage at St Mary's this morning and some lady tried to swoop on my spot...came hauling ass in and blared on the horn but I was blocking enough of the spot that she stopped. My signal was on and I was in the process of backing in and she was now blocking me so I rolled down my window and calmly said I was backing into the spot.

Her response was "fuck you find a new fucking spot" so I rolled my window back up and continued backing into the spot. I made sure to take my time parking and maneuvered within inches of her bumper with my driver's side slider. Even made eye contact and smiled at her while she was fuming. I wish I took my phone out and snapped a picture of the look on her face. Bitch.

 

Hopefully she was just stressed about something and isn't always a raging bitch

 

People are dumb. The other night I was driving home and some dumbass in the left turn lane was creeping into the center lane during a green light as I was driving up to go straight. I toot tooted to let them know I'm coming and they should probably wait before proceeding (this was at like 10pm by my house so there is no traffic. It wasn't going to be their only chance to pull this awesome maneuver off) but they kept on coming. The mule's tires stick out pretty far so concern from me about them pulling into my lane was low, very low. So I'm literally next to them and they keep pulling into the lane, which tells me they're not even looking at this point, well sure enough I basically drive over their front passenger fender while I'm laying on the horn and yelling WTF are you doing. So I pull over, throw on the hazards and they just continue on to make the right hand turn they were going for and drive off. I sat there just shaking my head.

 

Hey, I know this is the Reno area thread but it doesn’t seem like NV is very active. Anyone familiar with good spots to check out in the Henderson area? Heading out that way early next week and was thinking of making it a camping trip as opposed to spending the money on a hotel.

 

Drive a little bit further over the dam and camp on the colorado river.

We used to go over by Willow Beach but that was back in the late 80s. I cannot vouch for it nowadays.

 

I hear the Valley of Fire is pretty sweet, but I have never personally been there.

ughh I found this perfect subie for my wife but the girl wants to much for it. It is in mint shape though. 98 137k. Brand new tires plus head gasket and timeing belt just done. She came down to 3gs, but only worth 2400 in perfect shape says kbb. I keep working at it but she wnt take my 1800 offer, going to offer 2gs in a few days. SHe wanted 3500 and came down to 3. I want it so bad its perfect for my wife. I just dnt want to over pay dammit. Anyone know how to get this girl to lower her price? hahA
