    ...too much shit to list.

Mostly .030. I have a spool of .023 for thin shit like sheetmetal, but not my preference.
I ran a Hobart 180 for almost 10 years and then sold it for the same price I payed for it. My only compliant is the voltage setting is a "switch" where you have to choose a round number (1-7) rather than a potentiometer so there's no way to pick a voltage in between.

That's good to know with the voltage setting. I'm not smart enough to understand all the setting requirements (albeit I've never tried) I just tack and adjust until I find the right one. So not being able to fine tune would be a huge downside. Looks like 211 it is, thanks Jason!

You can borrow mine. I have a Lincoln 140 with the gas setup. Not the fanciest or the best but it works. Welded up my sliders fine. Come and knock on my door and get it. I should have plenty of wire too, shielded and non sheilded.

I was in the same situation trying to sell my Mom’s almost new Acura and they offered substantially more than regular dealerships.

Did someone say firewood :spy: need to get a cord or two for next year

I hadn't considered checking craigslist for deals this time of year. That @jberry813 is a resourceful one.

Hobart won’t disappoint. I’ve been happy with mine. I’ve ran Lincoln, miller, and Hobart.

I'd pick up a Esab Rebel 215 or 235. Hell, or the 205AC/DC they're coming out with soon but it aint cheap. Full featured Mig, Tig(AC/DC high frequency start, pulse, etc) on that new 205.

If you want to use a welder at your place for your LT work I have a ThermalArc 211i (now the Tweco or Firepower 211i) that I rarely use and you could borrow it for a week or so. It's one of the early inverter multiprocess machines, Mig, lift Tig, stick and runs on 110 or 220v power.

Keep in mind MOST multi process machines will not do ac tig. Not important if you don’t weld aluminum but if you do or want to....

That is a big appeal of some of the ESAB machines is all the features and versatility. I might take you up on that ThermalArc. I really need to check when I get home to see if my garage has 220v or if I need to run extension cords from my dryer

Soooooo, this is some fine drinking (and/or off-roading) weather we're having... Perhaps time for a TW drinking day (meet up and/or driving Tacos in the dirt day) soon...??

Free to a good home! Anyone looking for a CB? This Cobra 18 and 3' Wilson Flex antenna are free to anyone who wants them. I'm moving out and getting rid of excess stuff. I'm putting a different radio in my current truck, so that makes this 'excess stuff'. Located in Lyon County. If interested, just PM me and we'll go from there.

    CB-2.jpg

This radio has a front-firing speaker which makes it great for an in-dash installation. Here's how I had it setup in my 2nd-gen Taco-

Sadly, Breck1 and 4Wheelin4Banger are both ahead of you. Now, should they both decide they don't like free shit, then you're first in line! (probably wouldn't hold my breath--just sayin')
