I looked at the RZRs too & they look too much like a riding lawnmower.

 

This one is sooo hot, but I like it, especially in the winter.

 

I feel the RZR platform is more rounded. But the CanAm is like a mini Trophy truck with tons of upgrade potential. If all i cared about is power and going fast (and I had an extra 5-6K budget) I'd have an X3 XRS in my garage. Plus my 5' 3" wife said she couldnt reach/see well enough in the X3 drivers' seat, so that weighed in too. I enjoy my RZR a lot.... Though i do get a little envy of the X3 from time to time when i want to haul ass.

 

Well I'll be ready for some rippin' this weekend, but Rubicon & similar will have to wait until I get all the upgrades installed.
P.S. 172 HP means 0 to 60 in 4.4 seconds

 

You been there recently? Ormat drilled a well just a little north so I’m hoping they don’t try to develop a plant out there.

It's the start of a beast. Still waiting on skids, sliders, front & rear bumpers, winch, fender extensions, lower door panels, not sure what else at the moment.
At least I got the "Dyson" particle separator to keep the shit out of my intake.

 

Tires. I'd definitely upgrade tires. The stock ones probably won't last long in the desert out here. That's been my weak link at least- I've completely destroyed 3 tires and totaled 7 flats in the course of just over a year and 1000 miles on mine. And mine had 8 ply tires vs the 6ply bighorns that come on yours.
At the least get a spare and rear mount on the machine in case you do get flats

Yeah??? Whats going on with pelfrey? I saw some other posts of people saying things but i still dont know what happened. I was down in socal picking up the rest of my dads stuff- guns, gun safes, camping shit, fishing shit, hunting shit...etc.

The hunt is the second week in October. Elk opens October 9th.
