Amen, they brought absurdly capable machines to any swinging dick with credit. Used to be you’d have to know a little something to build something capable but now sxs are everywhere. And it’s unreal the stupid shit I’ve seen people do. I mean, I want one too but they’re still annoying.

Thanks anyway Randy. I’ve driven every sxs Can-am makes, I know how sweet they are. It was never about you though. I’d venture that you’re a tiny percentage of owners who bought outright. The reality is, that like most toys and everything else, lots of people are financed to the limit. And thats their perogative, however it used to be that owning something so capable came with a certain price tag (couldn’t finance) or knowledge and that helped to curb some of the stupid. Now anyone can buy a mini trophy truck, and they do, and tear shit up and force them places they don’t belong.

I have plenty of friends with sxs’, I get it. I worked at a dealer for a time, I get it. I’d love one myself, but I still think they’re a hugely negative thing overall for public lands and hunting and wheeling.

I’ve had quite a few close calls with SxS’s on forest roads or trails where they come hauling ass around a blind corner cutting it on the wrong side. It’s bad enough when I’m in my truck but when I’m on my dirt bike it really pisses me off.

But if I had one I would probably be doing stupid shit on them too.

IMG_2534.jpg IMG_2535.jpg Anyone in the Carson City area available tomorrow on Sunday to give me a hand putting my bumper on? LOL, My neighbors are senior citizens, friends aren't available, and wife refuses to help. I'll make it worth your while :) (I can offer: cash, ammo, beer, parts, etc).

If you are still maybe going to be in Reno on Tues or Wednesday, and can get it in the back of your truck I'd be happy to help you throw it on
