I know not everyone can handle it. Better leave it to the professionals.

Just got back up to the area and had my car's windows tinted at Cutting Edge on Greg St. I chose them based on the recommendations from others in this thread, and I wholeheartedly agree that they do excellent work!

What’d they charge if you don’t mind me asking? I haven’t gotten my windows tinted in a while, last time I did I think it was like $225 for an XV.

A few additions to make me feel cool.
Cutting edge does great work but I only use them for remote starts as they are pricey on tint. For tint Joe's Tint Shop does great work also and a little better price point. Joe is normally in the ballpark of $300 for a tint job using ceramic tint.

It was $340 for ceramic all-around. Would've been $240, had I gone with standard film. I thought my charge was reasonable, particularly since all four of my side windows have smaller 'pocket' windows that had to be done individually. Including the rear hatch, that makes 9 separate pieces that had to be applied.

Greg at Cutting Edge installed my remote start and they are a legit outfit. You can't beat them on remote starts!

The glass cleaner they sell at Cutting Edge is the best I have ever seen. I don't know what is in that shit but it cuts through water stains like nothing. I even clay bared my windows after cleaning them and could not get anything more off of them.

The stuff in the can? They give you a free can and a nice microfiber towel if you get the higher end tint. I agree it is the best glass cleaner I’ve used.

It looks like a bunch of places carry this like Walmart. When I looked a while back I had a hard time finding it.
