@jberry813 how do you like the ARB drawers? I was looking at Decked but I like the idea of a single drawer on one side of the bed leaving the other side for full height stuff.

    ...too much shit to list.
They’ve been great. Originally in the 4Runner. Then in the trailer for a couple years. Now in the taco. The lock out clips broke a couple years ago but ARB sent new ones out to me for free.

Just passed you on Kietzke between the roundabout and and McCarran. I was tempted to follow you and introduce myself but I had to get to an appt (as evidenced by my rushes driving). Your truck is looking ready for adventures!

Anyone here have a recommendation for a good local place (preferably Carson/Minden/Gardnerville, but Reno works too) to get the ceramic coat done? I love my black truck but the Nevada pinstripes show up so fast on the factory clear coat:goingcrazy:

If you have Nevada pinstripes, its going to be really expensive to have ceramic coating applied correctly. They will have to cut, buff, polish before they apply the ceramic coating. Applying the actual ceramic coating is relatively easy. Do you know which brand you want to use? Different brands offer different grades of longevity. I have been researching this same thing and there is a lot to know. Do your research and ask questions, ceramic coating isn't something you can just undo. There is lots of good information on youtube.

Oh, I know, my old truck was swirled and scratched and pinstriped to hell on one side. But this one is still brand new and I want to get it done BEFORE I get them this time around!

I had considered it for on my last truck but ended up spending the money on my front bumper instead lol

To be honest I hadn’t thought about it for this one. The way she looks now is just too pretty for me to want to mess with just yet! Plus she’s staying more of a pavement princess this time around since the hubby is still recovering from back surgery, so I figure I’d try to keep her looking as good as possible for as long as possible.

Figure some of you fellow Nevadans would think this Is interesting. I have a lot of hobbies, one of the more unique ones is metal detecting:anonymous:. I have found a lot of cool shit over the past few years, this being one of the cooler in my opinion.

    20190414_181743.jpg

It is a 1914/1915 hunting/fishing license for Nevada issued in Humboldt county made of aluminum and to be worn on suspenders. The #3 is actually the 3rd license to be issued that year.

Also good luck with the draw results everyone!

I got scuba certified last year. I was looking at underwater detectors to hit Tahoe under the docks and piers.

Im certified as well. Haven't dove in like ~8 years. I want to get back into it at some point, my only dives are when I was younger with family on vacations. Both detectors I have are waterproof, I had big aspirations to do some underwater hunting during the summers, and bought a really nice snuba setup but ended up not using it and resold it. Was actually just talking with a buddy how I was regretting it this morning we were fishing at pyramid and saw some interesting stuff on the fish finder. Im really not into hunting for modern "valuables" like alot of people with metal detectors do along beaches and what not, but hunting underwater just seems fun. I have detected up in Tahoe at some beaches when I first started, found countless modern change and some rings, which is pretty entertaining with a couple cold beers in me, but much prefer more remote / older stuff.

EDIT: on another note; get a detector! if you think you might like it you probably will.... And you would be amazed at how much stuff is under those docks.
