Yes that sounds like him! I’ve been next him at plenty of stop lights now. Trying to get a wave or thumbs up is impossible!

Eh doesn't really surprise me. He's not as into Tacomas and offroading as most of us here, just wanted to make his Tacoma look cool I think so he might be a little oblivious to another modded truck trying to get his attention.

Thought I would report back on my body repair at Concourse Body shop. They did a great job. The repair looks good and I asked them to not re-install the Off-Road decal and if the other side disappeared that would be a bonus. They remembered and they removed the other decal. They also wash and clean the outside and inside. I would recommend them to anybody needing some bodywork. Glad you guys pointed me to them. Moving on -

Any recommendations on a local shop to install Nitro-Gears or should I plan to visit them in Washington?

Hey team, I need a recommendation for a great powdercoating shop in Reno?

Also need a good place to install a front bumper that involves some cutting.

Finally, when's the next meet up? I'd love to meet some locals

We always say we're going to meet and then dont. Or only a subset show up. :anonymous:

I'd be up for a mod day. It's been awhile.

Gotcha, I haven't gone back to read previous threads but I'm a new Taco owner in town. I have a busy schedule but am always up for a meet up (beers) if I'm available!

I'm guilty for sure! Between work hours and rebuilding a house doesn't help.

I think a black rock camping trip would be nice. I know it’s difficult to meet up for a beer.

I’m always down for a BR trip. Last I heard there’s still a lake on the playa though. Probably July before you can drive on it.

Last year I was there too early.
I stayed on the path and was cruising along when I started to lose power. Got out and saw my wheel wells were completely full and rubbing on my tires.
Don't you need to wait until fall because by the time it dries up enough in the summer it's too hot there.
Lahontan is a great spring and fall camping spot.
I'm going to be at Lahontan the 3rd weekend this month if you want to come camping or just say hi.
1st 4 pics are from yesterday on the Silver Springs side and last 2 are last Memorial Weekend on the Fallon side.
