I know its been discussed but I don't remember who was better. Reno or Carson for service work? My dad has a few issues with his 05 he wants taken care of.

I've never had a problem with reno but I've only had tsb springs and two 4runner oil changes done there. Haven't been there in probably five years with the exception of the parts counter.

My experience has been the same as Matt at Dolan. I haven't been in for service in years either.

Do yourself a favor and go to Carson City. I just erased a 2 paragraph rant I typed about how much Dolan sucks, then realized you don't need to read all of it. Just go to Carson City. You will be much happier.

Anyone had issues with getting service done at Dolan or Carson with a Pro Grill on a non-Pro?

Negative, but heading up that way Saturday, if the report can wait until then.

Need some time in the mountains to scare fish (W. Fork Carson), and then I'll head down to 108 and survey the damage from last years' fire (which my oldest and I bailed on just in time).

I was thinking of heading down that way this weekend. I was originally thinking of going to Gold Lake area but I haven’t cruised down 395 in a while.

Thanks for the replies! He's got a few recalls and an ABS light on I think. He lives out in the middle of the state so he just drops it off to me and has me handle it. He's getting it squared away before hunting season, and before he sells it to me... maybe.

I wonder if they’re broke down, I saw them there early last week as well. Looks like the same spot toward the back near the gas station. I also saw your truck drive by the treatment plant a few times :spy:

Sounded like they had a generator running, I figured they were just posted up for the night. It was by the gas station... I drive up and down mccarran all the time running errands, I can see the chalk bluff plant (think that's what it's called) out of my window. Girlfriend is a teacher she did a tour with her students there and said it was pretty interesting stuff.

Found the pic I took, from Wednesday night. There’s a lot more beautiful places around town to spend the night. 12CAB928-6A01-45E8-BD05-772224358346.jpgYep Chalk Bluff! It’s massive, we get quite a few tours there surprisingly. Sorry if you catch wind from the sludge ponds, that stuff smells horrible when it’s wet.

Anyone know of sandblasting services in the Reno or Carson area? Trying to get my bumper stripped without too much of my own time. Thanks!
