    Lol.

I think I'm finally going to pull the (ok, slightly lift) the shell off my truck and reseal it. Typical leaks at the front corners that have been bugging me for a while. Figure I should fix that before I fab up the sleeping platform. Probably get a few boxes of 12 gauge from Cabela's (quail opens on the CA side in 15 days.....) so I can
You mean Loope Canyon? I drove by maybe a month ago and it all looked open to me. Or did they close it further in? Or maybe I'm thinking of the wrong trail to the river from 89.

Quoted to "not like", sorry to hear that. I spent so much time in that area, Dam Neck and Newport News, just not a fan. I'm assuming you're going back to sea-duty after the recruiting tour. TW has a real active group in that area, bunch of good guys that spend a lot of time down at the Outer Banks.

Yeah, Loope Canyon Road (the entry point from 89, at least). That was open just a couple of weeks ago when I drove by.

It had been closed for the better part of a year after big storms totally trashed the roads back in there (I think they had a fire, too). But the public works dude at Alpine County himself emailed me that it was back open (last fall, I think).

Nice calm morning at Round Hill. Feels like no tourist in Tahoe this weekend.

USFS shut down motorized crossings back in 2011. I'm looking for the supporting info on the HTNF site, and not finding it now. But yeah, they sometimes have a ranger taking a siesta in the shade at the crossing. I bet this weekend is a good example.

Too many fools crossing at the wrong time or the wrong place, having their shit swept downstream and dumping oil/fuel into the river pissed off the greenies. And rightly so, I guess. Who the hell wants to take a swim in a 5w-30/ATF/gasoline slick?

Prime example of a few idiots screwing it up for the rest of us. :/

Anyone know a licensed electrician? Got a random wire the buyers want capped off (not sure how it was missed when we had it inspected). They want it by a licensed one other wise I’d climb up and do it myself haha

Last year when I went down there I tried to find anything on the website saying it was closed to crossings but couldn’t. I’ve heard people say rangers sit down there and write tickets but it’s all third hand info never knew anyone that actually got a ticket.

Anyone got a good plumber recommendation? Flushed the water heater this weekend and now hot lines can’t keep pressure when flowing. Thinking there’s air trapped in the system somewhere but have been flushing lines for a day now. Replaced both the t&p relief valve and expansion tank since both were shot.
