Oh, and we too ordered some Baja Designs S1's, they're set to arrive today, excited to try them. Saw them before release at the Pomona Expo and again at SEMA and really liked the punch they pack in such a small housing.

Anyone local looking to purchase BD lights, hit us up as we're an authorized BD dealer. We'll give you a good deal- We can't advertise below MAP, but give us a shot and we'll get you the best pricing in person. ;)

Because I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to hot springs, can they vary in temperature from time to time?

Yes. I don’t know how/why but I’ve seen 30* swings in the matter of six months.

Ok. Because I saw some people in the tub at this one last winter. Today I was fully going to take a dip, I couldn't put my hand in it for more than a few seconds. Way too hot, I was bummed.

Yeah I’ve had to wait a few hours for that one to cool off, but have also been able to pull up and jump in. Someday I’ll take the time to research why the temp changes are so extreme and what causes them.

I was there a month or so ago and had to wait 3 hours to get in. I think someone recently redid the piping a little bit and the flow is much higher which is why it’s so hot.

It used to have a valve so you could regulate the flow and as long as people didn’t leave it on all the way it was perfect.

If you guys are interested it might be cool to get some people together and redo it with all new PVC and valves.

There was a taped together piece of hose, and I saw a broken ball valve laying in the metal tank. I'd be down. If we wait until spring/summer there are some really cool camp spots just west of there.

I'd be up for something like this. I'm actually in northern washoe right now and someone made one of the springs we usually stop at really nice since last year with some new piping and valves.
Always good to see some positivity out here vs the alternative.

One of the places I went to in central NV this year was completely redone and they used T posts every 5 ft or so and put the PVC about 18 inches up the t posts with bailing wire. It looked like a good way to keep the pipe off the ground and last longer.

I'd be in for sure since work is finally getting caught up here at the labor camp/house.
