Como is a sweet spot! I haven't been out there for a few years. I need to get back out.

Too many to list, and I've probably forgotten a bunch.
I guess a fire went through the old town site a few years ago and wiped a lot of stuff, but the old mine site is still fairly intact! Took the oldest up there in April or May, had lunch, poked around, and had a great day.

On the way out, some old folks in an early-2000's bone-stock Ford Explorer were coming up from Dayton. They were making it, though the factory running boards were taking a beating. Still, it was nice to see people in their 70's out there, exploring and 'wheeling' and enjoying life. Gives me hope, if I live that long myself! Lol.

Anyone have a need of four 4x6x8' redwood landscape timbers? Free for who wants them. Got them for a project that never happened. Or if y'all know of of a trail maintenance group I could donate them to that'd work to. I'm in NW, Robb and Mae Anne. Thanks.

If those are still available I could use them for the last couple of gates I have to install.

Anyone know of a good barber in town they recommend? One who's comfortable using a straight razor. My old timer barber seems to have retired due to health reasons and I'm not sure he will be back.

My buddy Pat owns Maxwells, he’s a good dude and never had a problem when he uses the straight razor on my neck and ears, even with ingrown hairs or zits on the back my neck :puke:You have to book ahead of time online and he only books appointments out one week in advance which kinda sucks. But 10/10 recommend.

When I was commuting to Sparks I was going to Shy's on Vista. He's good but does appointments, must be an NV thing.

All these barber shops are missing one important thing- a nice shampoo and head massage.

I always go to BJs but I don’t think they do straight razors.

I dunno. Is it more degen that when it's time for a haircut, I open the cabinet under the bathroom sink and pull out the clippers?

No guard, no one needs more than 1/32" of hair on their head. (And I'm not even going bald!!)

Agreed. Its pretty rare I go to the barber anymore. No guard clipper is my way too.
