I'll probably be at the shop tomorrow for a bit working, think I would have time to do it. I'd take a nice IPA 6 pack of your choice or Revision 4 pack as compensation. I'll DM you tomorrow when I'm down there if you want to swing by. I assume you still have the pin?

I must have seen at least 4 80's Toyota crawlers being trailered today.

So that's what was happening. I saw a bunch of crawlers headed north on 395 and was wondering.

So this may be a dumb question, but Ive never had this done before.
I just had my taco regeared to 4.88. Just got it back from Reno Driveline and Gear. When I put it in 4 hi and turn, the front end skips around like its locked? Is that normal?

On dry pavement? Yep, it should have done that with stock gearing too.

it was 1700 and change....I feel kind of raped on that. Good thing for them I have never done it or else I would have done it myself. I do think I need to get the truck re-aligned now, something just doesnt feel right for some reason.

I will say that the truck feels more responsive and peppy.

Alright alright....so who here has redone a CMC? I did a nice clean install the first time. Now after alignment I will have to redue it.

A- how can make this not look like crap.

B- I was thinking that a plasma cutter would be a better chance of popping it off vs angle grinder.

C- I like this CMC plate and relocating bracket.

Too many to list, and I've probably forgotten a bunch.
Anyone got a recommendation on a good alignment shop? SAWs are coming back from aFe, so I'll need an alignment once I reinstall them. They're just 2.0's, not LT or anything fancy - rest of the suspension is stock (UCA/LCA, etc.). Last shop (in CA) got it to almost 3* caster, which was nice for the ride, but I'd be content with 2* and the usual suspects for camber and toe.

Couple Tacos at pick and pull. 2004 and 2003. Extra cabs, black and white, some suspension stuff still left.
