Girlfriend is a teacher and we usually take off for spring brake up into Oregon.... literally packing stuff up as everything is going to shit, first breweries close in Oregon which is a big part of our trip, now all non essential businesses in reno closed....'m pretty sure we're not going. Maybe hit northern nv for a few days. The city closing the casinos down is unreal to me and really shows how fucked the situation is. I would think we will see a shelter In place order coming soon.

My plan: Hunker down, get drunk, emerge from whisky haze covid free. Win all around.
I'm blessed to be able to work from home when I need to.

I really like it. I wanted to go take a tour out there a few weeks back but they’re only open Saturdays which is kinda lame.

But in my cheap ass opinion definitely worth the $50.

Yessirs. My buddy had a bottle last UFC fight. Good stuff! I want to get out to the site but looks like that'll be a fall mini road trip!

The tour is pretty cool and worth taking if you get the chance, tasting includes the wines that they're doing as well.

I've been lucky enough to work from home as well. Just got the home office all set up before this blew up. Then went to Costco and bought a new grill and left the TP for the assholes.

Wife is a teacher so she is off and able to deal with the kids. It could be much worse for us. Only way we are impacted is the bare grocery shelves but that'll resolve itself shortly and my surgery and chemo will probably get pushed back a bit while the hospitals work through the covid19 patient bump....and the stock market but I'm trying to tell myself that were coming up on a buying opportunity.

Doin the same here. Just finished shopping for food (which was a nightmare) and got enough beer and whiskey to last at least a week if I ease up. So far I'll be able to keep working, but not sure if it'll stay like that. Hope we can all just get through this with tp left.
You have a great attitude about this. I wish others had the same. Stay strong

Too many to list, and I've probably forgotten a bunch.
Working from home, hanging out with the kids, harassing the wife, even working on a few small projects here and there.

I have meat in the freezer, beer in the fridge, and liquor in the cabinet. Other than Schieve-hole pandering to the Mass Panic Media + Sheeple, and then having to double-down because the sensible folks in Sparks and Washoe County didn't want to follow her 'brave, bold lead', we're great! I swear, that woman is a piece of work - the kind of work you'd expect out of a blind-drunk carpenter.

If this nonsense was taking place in July, that wouldn't be a problem. The beer would have been cracked an hour ago and I'd be sitting out on the deck by now, pondering my next move.

As it stands, there's multi-inches of snow on the deck, the grill is in its winter garb, the fire pit is out of wood, and all I managed to do is pound a Red Bull.

Still at work in the mine, there has been some talk about some of us working from home but idk i do an awful amount of exploration field work that i couldn't possibly do in my house. My friends in the educational fields in Reno, Elko, and Winnemucca are all working from home. Worst part of it is that I'm not sure if I can even find an open bar to have a Guinness after work

We're still burning out bumpers down in our shop. I like to think the UV light from all the welding/cutting arc's will keep the shop Corona virus free.
House has enough food and alcohol for a couple weeks pretty easily if need be, but seeing as we're only 5 people working in the shop and disinfecting the front area on the reg, I think we'll be fine around here.

Can't do my work from home, currently out at the Navy base. Which I'm real surprised is still operating normally. They talked about limiting to essential personnel only but nothing has happened.

I work at Renown and we started WFH this week for anyone that doesn’t have to be on site. I’ve been WFH the last couple weeks though. Just ordered a new office chair as I’ve been using a stool but other than that it’s no different than working from my office.

On our way out they told us they're limiting Navy personnel, but construction will continue. For now anyways.
