I found some nail 'boards' on Henness Pass Rd. a month ago or so. I hit one and ended up plugging my tire on the trail. I saw a few more further on, so I tossed them all in the truck and threw them in the garbage at home. They looked like construction/demo scrap, so maybe someone lost 'firewood' on the way to a camp.

 

With how much traffic that road gets I’m sure there’s hundreds if not thousands of loose nails that have rolled out of beds of work trucks.

The only flat tire I’ve had in my truck was coming back down the hill to Verdi on DVR. Put a 4” gash through the tread of the tire.

 

I was wondering if there was a pattern since some Eco groups sometimes scatter nails on OHV trails. There were homemade caltrops found on the South side of Peavine last year.

 

Anyone know where I can buy 10ft sticks of aluminum extrusion locally?

 

Some fucks were supposedly stretching lines across trails last year too.

 

So after living on the state line in Tahoe for the last 6 years I am going to change my trucks registration to Nevada. I just got the CA paperwork the 2014 is $296 and went down a little but the 97 went from $96 to $140 this year. Such BS. Anyways just wondering if any one with ruffly the same truck or trucks what did you pay for you Nevada registration this year.

 

my 2010 Tacoma was just 122.

I have vanity plates so that added $, still a hell of a lot cheaper than CA.

 

That's not bad at all. Your 2010 in NV is cheaper then my 97 in CA. So happy to be switching over.

 

No, very reasonable. I'm out in Fallon so the wait time is next to nothing here at DMV but the whole system is under scamdemic rules...

 

New DMV in Double Diamond opens in November. Looks huge

 

I'm in Zephyr cove just north of the casinos by South lake. I made an appointment in Carson City soonest I can get is November 5th but that's good everything expires mid November.

 

Hopefully they don't turn you away. I know our DMV is being real uptight about only serving locals .

 

Hope not my driver's license expires on the 8th of November. There is a dmv at kingsbury and 50 up here but they don't do new drivers license just registration.

Check the DMV website, I know they have extension letters for registrations and licenses. A lot of the remote sites like Fallon aren't taking out of county/region people as well. This Wuhan shit can't end quick enough but "they're" driving pretty hard to keep it going.

 

I use the commercial DMV on Greg street which usually has like a 5 min max line. I heard that they are combining the CDL operations and the regular stuff at that new location though. Hopefully they have separate lines still. lol

 

Do you remember what you payed to register the Red 96 last time you did it?
