I can imagine, there's been a steady flow of traffic heading that way all week.

I want to make a trip out to success loop but its such a long drive out that way. Would need to time it to avoid all the dune bros for sure. I have the next couple days off though. Just stuck on where to go.

Super easy trail. I’ve made it from Kingsbury to Spooner in 32 minutes in 2wd in The Penguin.

But if you take the scenic loops and stop and take in the scenery you can make it into a half day trip. Bonus points if you find the airplane memorial that crashed years ago.

Wow 32 minutes that's impressive. I was curious about the plain crash a friend asked me about it last night and I wasn't sure. Next time I think we will make a day of it.

Yeah, the weather yesterday was perfect. Easily the nicest Halloween weather in the last 10 years.

It sure was. 34 when I hit the golf course at 8:30 this morning, but by the time the sun was up, it was nice cool t-shirt weather.

I was feeling generous enough after such a nice day that I even helped the goober across the street move his stupid mattress up a flight of stairs.

Too many to list, and I've probably forgotten a bunch.
    Thanks!

About 30 minutes after my last post, I was heading out the door. I took a fall down the stairs in the house and jacked myself up. Wife and older daughter freaked out, and I'm laying there in a pile assessing how bad it was (nothing broken, 2 bruised ribs, several partial muscle tears in my back).

When I was able to move, I crawled to the kitchen, grabbed the Blinking Owl bourbon, and engaged in pain management. F-d up days ahead.

Shoot me a PM when you decide to go up there. I may be able to join you if you want a guided tour.

    EDIT:
Shit...I just remembered, they close the gates on November 15 for the winter. Doesn't open back up until June.

That'd be sweet. But dang, that doesn't give a whole lot more time. Procrastination doesn't pay. On the off chance I get next weekend free, i'll hit you up. It's coming up on winter camping time
Ah yes...the music of my people

    Good Evening!
My company has adjusted my territory and I am now covering Northern Nevada in addition to Northern California. I am planning on moving to the Reno/Sparks area as this is a majority of my business and I prefer the seasonal weather.

I was hoping for some recommendations/insights.
    1. Housing. Im a renter. Checked out Midtown last week, didn't love the lack of garages or heavy homeless presence (at least where I was). Any neighborhood gems out there?
    2. Local Shops! Working on modding my 2020, am unable to bring the necessary tools to do any work myself. Currently have a lift kit spread through my spare bedroom! :turtleride:
    3. Anyone that wants to include the new guy would be great! I'll always have a fridge/cooler of beverages available!

    Cheers!

Welcome. NW Reno, South Reno, North Valleys, Sparks, basically anywhere but the center of Reno is probably in line with what you’re after. For most, job location would probably be the biggest factor but sounds like thats less of a concern for you.

I would inquire at Adams High Rolling Customs.
