What’s your rent budget? Since you’re in Rocklin now it’s probably not an issue.

Haha. Yeah, Rocklin... But I'd LOVE to be at or around $1500. Is that realistic? Lol

Nice you were charging it. I took my wife with and she doesn't have a lot of off-road experience so I kept it pretty slow.
I hear they may close the gates this weekend do to the snow forecast.

@ShawZ midtown/downtown sucks. Not sure on the rent scene or price’s throughout town though.

What kind of lift kit do you have to install? Could be a mod day thing if you don’t mind getting you hands dirty and want to save some $$$

We haven’t done shit for meetups in a while. Would be cool to do something but also understand everybody’s busy. A lot of us skip town and explore any chance we get rather than sticking around.

I went with a full setup from Ironman. Never run their stuff before, but it was in stock and I didn't feel like I could pass up the price. Shipped within 2 days. Its full replacement with new coil overs, UCAs and leaf packs.

I'd love to jump in on a mod day, but I feel like a mooch since I'd need to borrow pretty much everything! haha

Im also hoping to get out a couple more times this year, but seems like something always comes up. Have only explored Tahoe national forest, looking forward to getting out in NV! I'll keep an eye on this thread and see if any exploring comes up!

    Cheers

I remember when you could register a vehicle for @ $40. Now, try over $400 for my truck.

Just went to the Carson City DMV yesterday Had an appointment at 8am did DL and 2 truck registrations. took 45 minutes. The 2014 didn't go down much from what CA cost to reg. $253 in CA and $232 in NV. Big difference was the 97 $ 147 in CA and $60 in NV

Yeah got two quotes and both were about the same. $1500 for the survey and then another $300 for the setback certification the city requires. Both said my survey is more difficult though because I’m in an old area.

Snowing up in the North valleys. I was carrying a tarp outside and my girlfriend says, "what the fuck are you doing?" I said, "it's finally cold and shitty enough to sleep outside in a sleeping bag out in the air.

She says, "You're nuts, sleep inside"

I may bail in a few hours and go back into the yard.

Down with summer, long live the cold.

I realized this morning I was out of ice melt.
The downside of having the sidewalk on my side of the street. Had a few inches here in Verdi.
