I did lower bronco on a YJ on 32's with no lockers. Upper Bronco. Yah, it'll run whatever buggy you can throw at it.

I just found a really good vid of Upper Bronco. I'll join you in not posting. @kairo was correct. Not even I'm stupid enough to try it in an IFS rig. That one will have to wait till I build a tube buggy. Holy hell, it looks rad.

Is there a good shop in town that does random installs? I have an air compressor collecting dust, prinsu roof rack with light bar, etc that I haven’t had time to install.

I don’t really know when I’ll have time to do the install.

    thanks

Too many to list, and I've probably forgotten a bunch.
I've never tried euro-nymphing. I may have to learn something about it.

Headed up with oldest girl to Lookout Campground, just below the crystal mine, to murder a tree.

I'm happy to say she cut that SOB down all by herself (10').

On the way out we counted maybe 30 vehicles coming in from Verdi. It was a zoo. Nevada people pull off, let the folks heading downhill pass. California people mash the throttle and try to squeeze around in the Worst F*cking Places. Kid checked each plate and concluded the same thing. I'm really curious how many continued on Dog Valley, past where it ties in with Henness Pass Rd. The back side there was icy AF. Had to use 4lo going down - breathing on the brake pedal = slip-n-slide. When we left it had warmed above 40F, so stuff was soft enough to crawl out in 1st gear, nice and easy.

We stopped to check on a group with a hood up, to see if they needed help. I hope they made it out OK.

I saw a few places where people had come in, topped 6 or 7' off a 15' tree, decided they didn't like it, left the 'top', and didn't even cut the rest down to a short stump. Is that standard practice? Seems like a dick thing to do, but then I remembered I was on the California side, where doing 'dick moves' is the norm, I guess.

Look up Nates Precision in Sparks, NV
Some of his builds have made it on the cover of magazines. I’ve known him for 25+ years and he’s a good dude, recently after new wheels and tires he did my alignment. Told him the numbers and that’s what I got. They pretty much do it all. Hope this helps.

Just make sure you get a written quote. Nate’s does good work and they stand behind it but my regear ended up costing almost double what they had quoted me. Not making that mistake again.

I did 4.88s in my turd gen, and eventually I’ll do the same to my second gen but go the ECGS route.
